This blog is presented to you by Sven Illert, an Oracle DBA, cloud + solution architect and whatever you may call people, who do technically interesting stuff in customer projects. My knowlege starts with Oracle 9i and Debian GNU/Linux Potato which both date back to the early 2000s. Today I am implementing solutions as a consultant for my employer based in Dresden, Germany. The topics include the following focus areas:
- Oracle database
- Scalability with RAC
- High Availability with Data Guard
- Engineerd Systems including Oracle Database Appliance and Oracle Exadata
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Lookalikes (Azure, etc)
- Programming / Scripting with GO, Perl, Shell, etc.
- Virtualization environments based on XEN and KVM
- Writing code using descriprive languages like Terraform
- A combination of all above
